All I can think is “But, that’s not how the spell works!” and “but it’s so damned hilarious I can’t bring myself to care!”
My guess is that Nelson successfully argued that the spell can’t tell the difference between someone reading it aloud and someone saying the exact phrase written into the spell while in close proximity.
